Buttock Lift

In cases where there is sagging of the buttocks and excess skin, buttock lift and buttock augmentation surgeries are performed. The volume of the buttocks can be achieved through fat injections or silicone implants, while the excess skin is removed in a “V” or seagull wing shape above both buttock creases during the surgery. This allows for both buttock lift and removal of excess skin, while hiding the resulting scar in the underwear or bikini area. The amount of tissue to be removed is significant, especially in patients who have experienced extreme weight loss or have undergone gastric bypass surgery. In such cases, this tissue can be used to provide volume to the buttocks.

The buttock lift with silicone implant method is performed through a 5 cm incision in an invisible area in the middle of both buttock creases. Silicone implants of appropriate shape are placed within the muscle, achieving the desired shape, buttock lift, and a natural appearance that is not noticeable from the outside. Wearing a compression garment is recommended to prevent swelling and bleeding.

The anatomy of the waist, buttocks, and hips is evaluated as a whole. Often, taking fat from the hip area and transferring it to the buttock area can achieve sufficient changes. The surgery can be performed under local or general anesthesia and takes about 1-1.5 hours. An special compression garment is worn for 4 weeks after the surgery. One can return to work or take a flight after 3 days.

In individuals who are excessively thin, a buttock implant is inevitable and the most effective solution. Since the buttock implant is placed from the inside of the hips, there will be no noticeable scar.

The surgery is performed under general anesthesia, lasts for 3-4 hours, and requires an overnight stay in the hospital. One can return to work or take a flight after 5 days.

In some individuals who experience significant weight gain or loss, the buttocks may sag, and the inner thighs may also become loose. In this case, buttock lift, buttock augmentation, and inner thigh lift are combined and performed. The incisions are planned along the bikini line.

The surgery is performed under general anesthesia and takes 4-7 hours, depending on the planned procedures. It requires 7-10 days of rest, and after this period, one can return to work.
